Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
For complicated analysis problems we use advanced computer simulation tools, allowing boundary conditions to be applied to a 3D CAD model of the design and after analysis providing a detailed picture of the effect of these conditions on the product. These results can then be used to improve or optimize the design thus reducing both the cost and time of physical prototyping across the life of the project. Simulation can be used for a wide range of tests including: product static strength, impact testing, the effect of material changes, thermal conductivity, fatigue life, and much more.
